Exactly three years ago Rijk started with his well known endevour in creating an alternative to the current banking system. A decentralized coin which had to be as easy to pay with as you would with fiat currency, without all the restrictions and limitations today’s banking has.

The idea is rather straigthforward. Skip the middleman, in other words, eliminate the need for a bank. With the Gulden being based on the blockchain technology that part was accomplished. The hard part is making the apps and the underlying technology easy to use for people who understand nothing about cryptocurrency and wallets. For those people things need to simply work perfectly.

Well, in three years time the Gulden development team has achieved a lot. Easy to use apps, a stable and very fast payment network and an ever growing userbase.

But as Gulden is growing, the development continues with new improvements to the apps and network. So we from GuldenBites are anxious to see what this year will bring for Gulden. One can only expect great things, now new developers have been added to the team.
