New round new opportunities. The crowdfunding of the FootGolf Capital Cup and tour was a huge success. The required amount was collected by the Gulden community within a few days. Unfortunately both the winner and the organizer failed to appoint their main sponsor in their communication with the press. The ANP press release issued by GuldenBites also had hardly any follow-up. That was a learning moment. But it has to be said, the tour has just begun and still lasts the whole season, so there is room to put this right. Fortunately there were enough Gulden banners and expressions on the venue.

With these experiences in mind a number of members of the community have started a new adventure. The crowdfunding of the Dutch and German kart champion Max Tubben (16 years old).

Max is a fast and fanatical kartracer for the CRG-Holland team, the same team where race legend Max Verstappen raced for. Max races in a shifterkart in 2018 in the German, European and World Championships and hopes to take a podium there. With his racing truck he drives to circuits in various European countries. The sponsor names are mentioned on the kart itself and also on the truck. During interviews with the international press Max will mention his sponsors and also on social media, TV, newspapers and magazines the names of the sponsors will be mentioned or shown. 

People started this crowdfunding for a better result in qualifying. Qualifying is about the fastest time. The tires are the fastest in the 4th round but the driver has to train a lot.

This crowdfunding is meant to provide Max with additional tires for the European Championship in Lonato (Italy), the World Championships in Genk (Belgium) and all races of the DKM in Germany (Deutsche Kart Meisterschaft). Max will also ride a number of high quality cups in Italy among others: Tropheo delle Industrie and the Trofeo Andrea Margutti.

In return Max will promote Gulden where ever he can. His truck will get big stickers with the Gulden logo, as well on his kart. The Gulden logo will be embroidered on his suit also. He will mention Gulden in his interviews! 

This sport gets a lot of attention from the media, especially in other countries so Gulden will certainly not remain unseen. Furthermore Gulden may also be an interesting currency for other teams. 

“The target for the crowdfunding is to raise 3000 €, which we hope to reach well before the 9^th of September.“said Rick Katoen, he supervises this crowdfunding.

And what about Max? He already has Gulden for a while, at least his dad manages his wallet. However it was plundered several times already for karting.
