Gulden mining figures

Here’s an update on the mining of Gulden over the total period of SIGMA mining 20 october till 7 november.
Blocks and block times
In these 19 days, 11315 blocks have been mined. An average of 595 blocks per day. That is slightly above the desired number of 576 blocks per day. The block time is not the desired 150 seconds but 145 seconds.
Number of miners
For every day, the mining addresses of the blocks were retrieved and put into a spreadsheet and a pivot table was released and calculated.
In those 19 days, 605 different miners were active and have found minimal one block.
In this period there are 150-208 miners who mined one or more blocks per day. We see a stabilizing trend to 175 miners.
What we see is that there are miners who stop but also miners who just start. It is an ongoing process so far. There is even a fixed core of 104 miners that has mined the entire period and if we look at the last 2 weeks it is 164 miners that have mined continuously. But on average there are about 260 miners active per day. This last count is shown in a ongoing graph where the criterion is that a miner must have mined the previous three days.
We can see that in the beginning everything was attractive with a peak of 325 miners on 26 October and that now a stable point is found around 260 active miners per day with a fixed core of 164 miners.
In the whole period 11315 x 50 Gulden = 565.750 Gulden is earned by the miners. 350.000 Gulden (62%) of this amount is still in the same initial miningadresses and isn’t moved or sold.
